Cubism Art
Cubism was one of the more influential art styles, that was created by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque in Paris between 1907 and 1914. The style was coined the term "cubism" from a art critique, who saw geometric shapes and forms in a abstract array, and called them "cubes." Cubists rejected many of accepted ideas of art and how it should copy nature. Instead of using 3D concepts of art, such as perception, they focused on the simplistic 2D images of the figures in geometric forms and used multiple or contrasting vantage points to make the image pop. Though the art was popular and well recieved in its time, it was very short and consisted of little people. One of the people who created the style was Pablo Picasso. Pablo was a Spanish artist who was born in 1881 and died in 1973 (Rewald).

Bottle and Wine Glass on a Table, 1912 Pablo Picasso
Pablo Picasso was one of the main creators of cubism through his art style. Therefore he had perfected the style because it was his. This painting “Bottle and Wine on a Table” demonstrates all of the ideologies of the Cubism perfectly because his art is what shaped the ideologies of the style. The painting represents a 2D figure and uses geometric forms in abstract way. It also shows contrasting vantage points especially of the table. The painting represents a more abstract art, with no real art concepts. This is really what made it different from other art, which either was perceived positively or negatively depending on opinion (Rewald).
